Highways

Highways and Transport is the responsibility of West Northamptonshire Council. The Parish Council has some powers, such as the power to contribute to traffic calming schemes, but they are limited and we cannot act without the permission of WNC Highways.

The Parish Council collaborates with the WNC on matters relating to Upton Parish such as actively reporting highways defects using Fix My Street. If you spot a pothole, a lose kerb, a blocked drain or overhanging vegetation on the pubic highway, you can report it:  West Northamptonshire Council FixMyStreet
